Sussex VA Chamber has 68 members and 10 board members. The Chamber's membership includes businesses, non-profits, schools, and civic and religious organizations of Sussex County and the greater region.

Current Board President is Jesse Hellyer of member New York Life, Vice President is Dr. Phyllis Tolliver of member Jessica Ann Moore Foundation, Treasurer is Lydia Pittman of member Virginia Diner, Secretary is Lynn Babish of Schultz Lawnscapes, as well as Board Members Angela McPhaul of member Town of Waverly, Andrew Burton of member Schultz Lawnscapes, Nick Garrett of member Wakefield Market, Abby Malcolm of The Art Room, Justin Pope of member Dominion Energy, and Phyllis Smallwood of R&A Hilltop Enterprises. The purposes of the Sussex VA Chamber of Commerce are to 1) Develop, encourage, promote, and protect the commercial, professional, educational, financial, general business, and residential interests of the Sussex County area; 2) Promote the civic interests and general welfare of Sussex County communities; 3) Promote trade, commerce, and agriculture in Sussex County; 4) Foster, develop, and protect the industrial growth of the Sussex County area.
